Aloha Sunset (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). With this Privacy Statement, the Company wishes to inform its visitors about the processing of their personal data during their stay. Specifically, the personal data voluntarily provided by users of our website and our practices regarding personal data received from other sources, such as written or telephone communications or the information we have when you visit our accommodation, are used by our company in order for users to have direct and meaningful communication with our company, to provide them with answers to specific questions they raise and finally to serve and execute reservations. The Company has taken the necessary technical and organizational measures in order to fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Law 4624/2019, the Decisions, Directives and Opinions of the Greek Data Protection Authority and in general the national/EU legislation and case law on data protection (hereinafter referred to as "Applicable Legislation"). The information collected by our company through the cookies of our website aims to measure the number of visits to our website, to determine customer requirements and to facilitate transactions with the company.

The Company may transmit the above personal data to its staff, to the Administration or to third parties, to whom it has assigned the processing of personal data on its behalf (e.g. reservation management system). After your departure, the Company communicates the your personal information, such as name, length of stay, room number, number of guests, email, to an external partner, who undertakes to send you a guest satisfaction questionnaire and collect your corresponding answers (completion is optional).

In any case, third parties to whom your data may be transferred are contractually bound to the Company to ensure the required confidentiality obligation as well as all obligations provided for by Applicable Law. In addition, your personal data may be transferred to supervisory, independent, judicial, prosecutorial, public and/or other authorities or bodies or parties that are responsible for controlling/monitoring the Company's activities within the framework of their responsibilities. The Company will not process your personal data for purposes other than those for which they were collected, nor will it transfer them to unauthorized third parties. What Personal Data do we collect and why?

In order to make reservations, but also to ensure that we can contact you in order to inform you about issues related to your reservations and our offers, it is necessary for you to share certain personal data, such as your full name, address (sender and recipient), telephone number, email address. However, we also receive information about you from other sources. This includes business partners, such as travel agencies or other websites. Anything we receive from these sources may be combined with the information you have provided to us.

By using some of these, you provide your booking details to our business partner, who then passes them on to us. We also use third-party services to facilitate payments for guests at the property. These service providers share payment details so that we can manage your bookings and ensure that everything runs smoothly for you.

 

If a refund is requested for your booking by either you or the credit card holder used to make your booking, we may need to share certain details of your booking with the payment service provider and the relevant financial institution in order to process the refund. This may include a copy of your confirmation or the IP address from which your booking was made. In addition, we may share information with relevant financial institutions where we consider it necessary for fraud prevention and detection purposes.
